The terrace of the main building looks out onto the Drostdy estate where a flock of sheep, a living exhibit with an ancestry older than 3000 years, graze under the oak trees. This is also the view from the oldest room named "The Stable". Three rooms are situated around a sparkling pool, which offers guests a cool relief from the reliable Swellendam sun. The poolcourt flows to the garden and the four garden rooms. The garden, with its lush indigenous vegetation, enjoys vistas of the imposing Langeberg Mountains and affords privacy to the rooms. |
